Milwaukee, WI. Artisan Partners announced today that Jay Warner, CFA, has been named associate portfolio manager on the Artisan Partners Growth Team, effective immediately. Mr. Warner joined the team in 2003 as an analyst, conducting fundamental research initially as a generalist then developing deep expertise on the financials sector. The Growth team manages the Artisan Global Opportunities, Global Discovery, U.S. Mid-Cap Growth and U.S. Small-Cap Growth Strategies (inclusive of the Artisan Global Opportunities, Global Discovery, Mid Cap and Small Cap Funds) led by portfolio managers Jim Hamel, Craigh Cepukenas, Matt Kamm and Jason White.

Prior to joining the Growth team, Mr. Warner worked as an accountant. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in finance, investments and banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Regarding the team update, Mr. Hamel said, "Jay's promotion is a reflection of the dedication and leadership Jay has brought to the team for the past 16 years, along with the value his contributions have added for clients and shareholders."
