Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Artisan Partners announced today that it will reopen Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund, effective November 21, 2016. The Fund is managed by the Artisan Partners U.S. Value Team, led by portfolio managers Jim Kieffer, George Sertl and Dan Kane. The Fund has been closed to most new investors since mid-2009, reflecting the team and firm’s focus on effective capacity management.

Artisan Partners also announced today that the Board of Directors of Artisan Partners Funds, Inc. has approved a plan to liquidate Artisan Global Small Cap Fund, which is managed by the Artisan Partners Global Equity Team. The liquidation is expected to occur on or about January 20, 2017. The Fund will cease accepting most new investments on December 21, 2016. Shareholders who continue to hold shares of the Fund on the liquidation date will receive a liquidating cash distribution in the amount equal to the net asset value (“NAV”) of their shares.
