Milwaukee, Wisconsin and London, England. Artisan Partners announced that it won the category for ‘‘Active Global Equity’’ at Pensions Week’s Pension and Investment Provider Awards (PIPA) in London on 29 May 2013. PIPA seeks to recognize excellence in providers of products and services to UK occupational pensions schemes. The four key criteria used to judge the awards were performance, innovation, service standards and competitive edge.

Artisan Partners was selected as the winner of the Active Global Equity category because it stood out for the performance of its global equity strategies and for its sharp competitive edge. The judges believed Artisan’s competitive edge was in the structure of its five autonomous investment teams.

Artisan Partners manages three active global equity strategies. Each strategy is managed by one of Artisan’s distinct investment teams. The Artisan Global Opportunities strategy is managed by the Artisan Partners Growth team, the Artisan Global Value strategy by the Artisan Partners Global Value team and the Artisan Global Equity strategy by the Artisan Partners Global Equity team.
