Milwaukee, Wisconsin and London, England. Artisan Partners announced today that it was named "Active Manager of the Year" at the 2017 Pensions Age Awards in London on 23 February 2017. The Pensions Age Awards aim to reward both the pension schemes and the pension providers across the UK that have proved themselves worthy of recognition in these increasingly challenging economic times. The Active Manager of the Year Award recognizes the manager that has demonstrated consistent outperformance and an innovative approach to its investment strategy.
Andrew Marks, Managing Director and head of EMEA distribution for Artisan Partners, was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the firm, and said "This achievement is testimony to our talent-driven business model that is designed to attract and retain talented investment professionals focused exclusively on active, high value-added investment strategies."
Artisan Partners was also shortlisted in the "Equities Manager of the Year" category, for which it won the award last year.
Artisan Partners was awarded Active Manager of the Year on 23 February 2017 as part of the 2017 Pensions Age Awards. The winner was selected from a shortlist of seven investment managers in a subjective review by a panel of industry judges.
