San Francisco, California. Artisan Partners will launch a new active equity investment strategy, Artisan Partners Global Small-Cap Growth Strategy on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. The strategy will be managed by the Artisan Partners Global Equity team. The Global Equity portfolio management team is comprised of Mark L. Yockey, Charles-Henri Hamker, Andrew J. Euretig and David Geisler. Mr. Yockey and Mr. Hamker have worked together on the Global Equity team since 2000, Mr. Euretig joined in 2005 and Mr. Geisler in 2007. Mr. Yockey, Mr. Hamker and Mr. Geisler will be the portfolio co-managers driving decision making in this new strategy.
Artisan Partners CEO Eric Colson said, “Mark and his team have proven to be successful global investors managing our Global Equity, Non-U.S. Growth and Non-U.S. Small-Cap Growth strategies. In regards to the new strategy Mr. Yockey said, “The Global Small-Cap Growth strategy is a natural extension of our global research. We find a lot of U.S. small-cap ideas with attractive growth prospects and competitive advantages. We will now be able to leverage those ideas into a portfolio.’’
