Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Artisan Partners is pleased to announce that its Growth team was recently named ‘‘Midcap Equity Manager of the Year’’ by Institutional Investor for its efforts in managing the Artisan U.S. Mid-Cap Growth strategy. The awards are part of Institutional Investor’s second annual U.S. Investment Management Awards, which recognize U.S. money managers across 23 asset classes, strategies and product types that stood out in the eyes of the investor community for their exceptional performance, risk management and customer service. Winners were chosen by the editorial staff of Institutional Investor magazine based on their market intelligence, performance data and additional information received from the industry following a public call for nominations. Manager winners were selected by the editors of the magazine based on the results of a survey of U.S. institutional investors.
The Artisan Growth team also manages the Artisan Global Opportunities and U.S. Small-Cap Growth strategies. The team is led by portfolio managers Andy Stephens; Jim Hamel, CFA; Craigh Cepukenas, CFA; Matt Kamm, CFA & Jason White, CFA.
