Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Artisan Partners is pleased to announce that its Growth team was recently named "Mid Cap Growth Equity Investment Management of the Year" by Institutional Investor. The awards are part of Institutional Investor's fifth annual U.S. Investment Management Awards, which recognize U.S. Money managers who have stood out in the eyes of the investor community for their exceptional performance, risk management and service. Winners were selected by the editorial staff of Institutional Investor magazine based on their market intelligence and on the results of a survey conducted of U.S. institutional investors
The Growth team is led by portfolio managers Matthew H. Kamm, James D. Hamel, Craigh A. Cepukenas and Andrew C. Stephens. In addition to the U.S. Mid-Cap Growth Strategy, the team also manages the Global Opportunities and U.S. Small-Cap Growth strategies. This is the second time the Growth team has been honored by the magazine, and Artisan Partners' fourth time.
